It’s been a while since I last ate at Poco Deli but I was able to visit again sometime mid-July.  Parking is still tough around this part of Kapitolyo but luckily, we were able to park right out front.  I walk in the familiar dining area with the display case and counter on the right and a huge shelf of wine at the far end.

On the Table

Wagyu Sausage Plate P450

2 pcs. Of Wagyu sausages, served with homemade sauerkraut and toasted bagel chips.  Made with Wagyu beef

I’ve had Poco Deli’s sausages before but their Wagyu sausage that evening seemed a little bit undercooked and was just okay.

Spanish Callos P320

A family recipe, slow cooked for 10 hours with choice of beef tripe and chorizo, served with bacon rice

I love Callos and Poco Deli’s version almost never disappoints.  It was full of flavor with the sticky sauce that you could almost drink.  It helped Barns finish off his bacon rice even if he doesn’t take rice in the evening anymore.

Thanks Barney for dinner!
